Now is a great time to target pike right in and around the thickest weedbeds.  Most aquatic vegetaton is now in it’s summer growth and if you locate good size weedbeds in 5-12′ of water, you will probably find feeding pike.  Use www.luckystrikebaitworks.com , spoons early and late in the day around the weeds and fish spinnerbaits and Rapala crankbaits tight to the weeds and right over them throughout the middle of the day.

The www.luckystrikebaitworks.com, series of spoons are ideal for pike fishing. Amongst the most productive is the Half Wave.
