Walleye on Rapala Dives To 7 flat.
Posted on August 23rd, 2011[nggallery id=582]I had a chance yesterday to fish the Welland River with my good friend Cliff Zaturski for a couple of hours. Conditions were good which meant clearer water and nice weather. We fished Rapala Dives To 7 Flat crankbaits along shoreline structure breaks. To our surprise Cliffs first fish was a sheepshead, my fish turned out to be a nice-size walleye. The cooler weather that moved in the night before could have turned the fish-off. I suspect that if the weather continues to stay in the mid-25C, fish will be hitting consistently again.
