[singlepic id=2257 w=320 h=240 float=]Our good friends the Kesslers made their first outing on Lake Simcoe, ON and caught these jumbo perch and one surprise walleye. They were fishing shorelines at the north-end of Cooke’s Bay for jumbo perch using 1/8 oz. jigheads & 2 1/2″ Fin-S-Minnows and fishing them around the weed-patches in 10-20′ of water. They usually catch lot’s of jumbo perch, and often hook trophy smallmouth bass, pike and even big walleye!
If you love to eat perch, now is an excellent time to target them in Lake Simcoe, ON.
