We are hearing reports of anglers catching walleye in the eastern-end of Lake Erie, ON.  Schools of walleye have been feeding in water depth ranging from 40-65′ of water.  Anglers traditionally do well fishing the eastern end of Erie trolling with large blade worm harnesses/worms, either flat-lining with a bottom-bouncing sinker, or a Luhr Jensen Jet Diver/in-line planer board.  Good boat trolling speed ranges from 1-2mph.

The Luhr Jensen Jewel Bead Harness comes rigged with tandem hooks and comes in different blade sizes and colors to fish in most walleye conditions.

Luhr Jensen’s Jewel Bead worm harness in the larger size is excellent to use for Lake Erie walleye that are feeding in open water!
