Ron Bierstine reports. Flows in the Oak Orchard are mod – med with about 3 feet of viz. Fish are scattered, some yet upstream nearer the dam, some in the gravel and some in the holes as drop-backs and fresh fish.
If you cover some different water with good drifts or swings or find them turned on at any one time in a certain spot you should get a few hook-ups. A nice fishy semi cloudy and warmer today with guys reporting some hook-ups. There’s the chance for precipitation tonight and mid-week so flows may be on the rise if the rain is significant. Some nice maintenance rain and moderate temps should help prolong the action and maybe draw some more fresh fish in. Nothing too hot and heavy is reported in the area smallest and smaller tributaries, that we know of, although anytime there’s a rise in flows this time of the year there is the chance for some fresh steelhead or browns to be redistributed.
