Steve Green wrote in to us to share his excitement of his son Tyler’s trophy smallmouth bass catch:

“This past Friday, my 9-year-old son, Tyler (TJ), experienced his first real day of fishing…in other words, something more than dropping worms off the end of a dock for small rock bass. We packed up our gear and some grub and headed off down a rough logging road to a remote, back-in-the-bush lake. It was an afternoon I’ll never forget and an experience I hope will be a catalyst for many more fishing-related memories to be enjoyed by my son and I. Not too shabby for a “green” beginner!
