[nggallery id=422]After having a successful pre-fish, we headed out on Wed., to the same area, just a little earlier (5:45am), to get set-up for filming.  It started off cold, at -20C, but by noon it was -1C, which felt warm!!  The walleye were scattered and we started catching fish within minutes of getting out.  We landed about 3-quick fish up to 8lb., and than started moving around and cutting more holes.  Most of our action came from 15-19′ of water.  We ended up catching some of our biggest fish in the 8-12 lb. range between 2-4pm with bright sunny skies…..go figure?!  We had lot’s of action with the largest walleye weighing in the 11-12 lb. range.  We had several of our friends on the ice who had never fished the Bay for walleye before and they all had fresh walleye to take home and had an excellent time on the ice!!  If you love to ice fish, make sure to watch this episode as it airs in the new season.  It’s filled with big fish and excellent tips on techniques and products that will help you catch more fish through the ice!
