Trophy south-west Florida snook.

Lek struggles to hold up Mike's trophy snook.

Mike Scarlett reports. Lek (our neighbor), and I went to the West Wall in Carlotte Habor, Fl again yesterday morning and immediately we got into some spotted sea trout on the flats.

Spotted Sea Trout are plentiful on the flats, fun to catch and are great eating!

After landing a few keeper-size trout we then decided to fish the mangroves for reds and got a big surprise and hooked and landed this trophy snook. We filleted it and cooked it in beer batter…Outstanding !!! We also got into a school of jacks and interesting enough I landed two jacks on one lure. .Looking forward to getting out with you in December.
