Trophy Pike landed from Lake Simcoe, ON.
Posted on May 18th, 2012[nggallery id=713]Our good friends the Kessler’s were out fishing on Lake Simcoe with their ultralight spinning outfits, light line and 1/8 oz. jigheads rigged with 2 1/4″ Finesse Minnows when their hooked-up with this trophy pike. Amazingly they landed their fish. It’s not surprising since pike will cruise shallow water this time of the year in search of tasty panfish for a meal.
