The smiles says it all! Jamie, you are a great trophy walleye guide.

Jamie Sheremeta send us the above trophy walleye they caught fishing the Kapuskasing River, ON.  This was a team effort with Jamie having to supervise the fish fight and make sure no one got pulled into the water, or lose the rod & reel during the fish fight.  They used a  green and orange jig head tipped with a minnow  and fished in 9′ of water!!

For those of you that love walleye fishing, the Kapuskasing River is full of flooded trees and has excellent structure.  Most anglers targeting walleye there indeed fish a simple jig/minnow along the shoreline drop-offs and near the flooded timber.  In addition to walleye, jumbo perch and sturgeon are also caught!!

The Rapala Walleye Team rods have been developed with the help of Canadian walleye anglers. Different models and actions meet every Canadian walleye anglers needs!
