WOW nice fish! This is Koya from Japan with a Skeena River Chinook (King) Salmon he caught while fly fishing. He is a guest of Tracey John Hittel at http://kitimatlodge.com.

Noel Gyger reports. Light rain with highs to 22 degrees C. Skeena River in good shape and fishing well for Chinook (King) Salmon. Kalum River is in fair shape. Steelhead is over and you can target Chinook only in the lower end below the canyon. Kitimat River is hooking lots of Chinook now, Pink and Chum on their way too. Zymoetz (Copper) River in fishable shape. If it was see this: Note the regulation: No Fishing upstream of the sign at the transmission line crossing (downstream of Zymoetz Canyon) Jan 1 – June 15. Steelhead fishing below this closure is still permitted. Ocean fishing for Salmon,  Halibut, Prawn, Dungness and Alaska King Crab is good out of Kitimat.
