Tetra-Pod ideal for small lake fishing.
Posted on July 23rd, 2015I am really excited about the Tetra-Pod trailer/boat that we are using this year to fish smaller, hard to get to lakes.
The Tetra-Pod is a trailer that coverts within minutes to a boat. This is no gimmick, it is amazing!
I had my second opportunity to fish from it with Brad Panek where we had to reach a remote back-lake for some pike fishing by going down a river bed ravine, crossing the river, going up the ravine, than dragging the Tetra-boat about 200 yards before reaching the lake.
It fishes 2-adults comfortably (and a dog!). We powered it with a 46 lb. thrust electric & 24DC-700N Marine/RV deep-cycle battery. It was windy all day long. We spend most of the time fishing around lily pads and other aquatic weeds and the Tetra-Pod performed excellent!
I can’t wait until next week when we fish together again and shoot a 1/2 TV show!
