It has warmed up a little and a few determined Steelheaders are back at it. The Kalum River is fishing “fair†for Steelhead. If it is still too cold for river fishing why don’t you try your luck fishing for Winter Chinook in a covered ocean boat out of Kitimat or Prince Rupert.

While you are at it, drop a Crab trap. There are discounted charter boat prices out of Prince Rupert right now. Contact me anytime and I will be happy to set-up a charter for you. There is an ocean fishing derby (Blue Knuckle Derby) coming up in Prince Rupert on December 27th.
