Terrace, BC Tributary Update.
Posted on September 22nd, 2009Noel Gyger reports. Weather was OK until mid week when the rains came. By the weekend most all river were blown out. Trying to find clean water to fish is a challenge now. Fishing the clean seams of the tributary creeks and rivers is a suggestion. For the time being, you may have to resort to fishing the lakes and ocean. This is “prime-time†on the main stem Skeena River to fish for Coho, and summer-run Steelhead but water is too dirty now.

On the positive side, this high water should bring in lots of fresh fish and flush out most of those smelly dead spawned-out Pinks. The Kasiks River comes back into shape quickly after a heavy rain. The Kitimat River also seems to come back quickly.
