Terrace, BC and area fishing update.

Noel Gyger reports. Weather temperatures cooling down for the weekend. We’ve had lots of rain and most of the rivers are blown out and I don’t think they will clean up in time for the weekend. Kalum River both lower and upper sections are dirty from the heavy rain. Zymoetz (Copper) River is dirty from the heavy rain. Upper Lakelse River is starting to fish well for Steelhead and the water is clean enough to fish. This might be the only option for river fishing this weekend. The rising water should move more Steelhead upriver. With these conditions fishing can be outstanding. Ocean fishing for Salmon, Halibut, Prawn and Crab is still good out of the ports of Kitimat and Prince Rupert.
