Terrace, BC and area fishing update.

Posted on September 11th, 2014

coho-sept-11_2014Noel Gyger reports. Weather sunny with warmer temperatures. Rivers have been dropping and should be in good shape for the weekend. Skeena River summer-run Steelhead, Coho and Pinks are fishing very well. Sockeye is very good and the limit has been increased from 2 fish per day to 4 fish per day. Coho are starting to show in decent numbers. One can catch Steelhead and Coho on the same day.  Kitimat River is fishing well for Coho. Pinks and Chum are dark now. Coho are coming in the lower ends of the Exstew, Kasiks and Exchamsiks rivers. Need some high water to move them up river. Ocean fishing for Salmon and Bottom Fish out of Kitimat and Prince Rupert is good; so is Crabbing and Prawning.
