Terrace, BC and area fishing update.

Posted on October 24th, 2013

Surrey BC fireman Brad Rimek with a Zymoetz (Copper) River wild Steelhead.

Noel Gyger reports. Weather forecast mostly sunny with isolated showers. All rivers in good shape but very, very low. Coho are now higher up the Skeena tributary rivers such as the Gitnadoix, Kasiks and Exchamsiks. Water so low it is difficult to get up them with jet boat. Kalum River is very good for both Steelhead and Coho. Lakelse River Bridge Coho fishing is very slow, once again most fish are up river. Kitimat River Coho are too dark, they should be left alone to spawn but Trout fishing is good. Coho closes Oct 31st. Lake fishing is good everywhere. Ocean fishing out of Kitimat and Prince Rupert is excellent; so is Crabbing and Prawning.
