Terrace, BC and area fishing update.
Posted on October 10th, 2013

Noel Gyger reports. Weather forecast is mixed with light rain and sun. Rivers coming back into shape after a few days of heavy rain. Skeena River is still in poor shape but some would say borderline fishable. Might be OK by the weekend. Catches of Steelhead and Coho are reported to be only fair as most of the runs have already gone through. Due to heavy rain Coho are now higher up the Skeena tributary rivers such as the Gitnadoix, Kasiks and Exchamsiks. Lakelse River Bridge Coho fishing is slow, once again most fish are up river. Try casting spoons at the river mouth. Lake fishing is good everywhere. Ocean fishing out of Kitimat and Prince Rupert is excellent; so is Crabbing and Prawning. If you are new to the area and don’t know how or where to fish why don’t you consider hiring Noel Gyger. You can contact him at, noel@noelgyger.ca .
