Terrace, BC and area fishing update.

Dustin Kovacvich holds his clients Steelhead caught on a Skeena tributary. Spey fly fishing was the choice of fishing the system and works really well on our large rivers.
Noel Gyger reports. Weather forecast to be cloudy with showers and cooler temperatures. Skeena River is very low and in good shape and catches of Steelhead and Coho are reported to be good. Actually all the rivers are low. We need some rain to shake em up. Guess we should be careful what we wish for. Coho are now coming into the lower Skeena tributary rivers such as the Gitnadoix, Kasiks and Exchamsiks. Fish the lower end where you can find deep cut banks, pools and runs. Look for rolling fish. With the low water the fish are having a tough time making it up river. Lakelse River Bridge Coho fishing is slow. Marabou jigs work well so do spoons and spinners. Lake fishing is good everywhere. Ocean fishing out of Kitimat and Prince Rupert is excellent; so is Crabbing and Prawning. Good luck this weekend.
