Steelhead fishing is “ON” in Ontario and neighbouring US tributaries!

Posted on March 31st, 2020

Our good friend Peter Yeung had a chance to travel to Wisconsin, USA for soem amazing Lake Michigan tributary fishing before the traveling was limited due to the virus.

Bailey Adamavich above has lots to smile about after landing this brilliant “Chromer” female steelhead.

The boys were running roe bags and single eggs under a float to drift-fish deeper pools and runs.

Tim Maher also caught and released this beautifully colored migratory Brown that probably was a “drop-back” from the fall run.

Tim Maher above also caught his share of nice steelhead including this female that was getting close to spawning. It’s nice when you can fish low-pressure tributaries, have pools an runs to yourself and be able to catch both Steelhead and Brown Trout.

Habitual Guide Service is offering a walk and wade guided experience on tributaries located on the west side of Lake Michigan in Wisconsin, USA. As of right now they are being told that they can still operate at their own discretion. With that being said please use your best judgment, if your not feeling well please stay home. They will be limiting groups to no more than two anglers at a time. Fishing has been outstanding the past week and should continue to be good with the upcoming forecast. Availability is limited so give them a shout if you would like to hook into trophy Steelhead and Brown trout!

Ask for either co owners, Tim Maher or Tyler Yunk. You can reach them at 920-255-7865 or 920-604-4169.
