St. Lawrence River, ON Smallmouth Bass.

Posted on August 26th, 2020

Our good friend Michael Kumar had a chance to fish the mouth of the St. Lawrence River where it meets Lake Ontario. Winds where low and they were able to get out to some isolated islands and fish shoals and drop-offs in 12-20′ water.

They had amazing fishing in clear water where they were even able to see schools of smallmouth bass before dropping their lines down. The best lures/presentations were Ned Rig fished with soft-plastic grubs, drop-shoting with Goby colored plastic worms and twitching the Rapala Shadow Rap
