Our good friends the Kubassek family have been doing great Walleye fishing north of Lake Superior, ON in 3-10′ water.
Spring conditions are later in northern Ontario then they are in southern Ontario and Walleye are still close to their spawning areas.
Slow-trolling worm harnesses under 2mph has produced a lot of fish.
Yellow shallow-running body baits trolled in the same areas are also working well.
The fishing has been so good that Joe and his son Simeon landed 30-40 Walleye in less than 3hrs.Soon as water temps warm up, these same Walleye will start to scatter and feed throughout the lake and it will take more work to located them & catch them.
