Wayne Sheridan reports: River levels are back down but still a little higher than normal. Luckily we didn’t see the thunderstorms that were forecast for Father’s Day and it was a beautiful day. On Saturday we dropped by Natural Sports and visited with Italo. He enjoyed the cookies I brought.
Wayne‘s Fishing Tip of the Week: Energy maximization. Fish are resting. Like humans, fish do not feed all the time. They will sit in quiet locations and it will be extremely hard to get them to hit. Always look for them where they can be protected from predators, like undercut banks and deep pools.
River Flow Rates: moderate/high, tea coloured, visibility 4 ft.
