Southern Ontario reservoir Walleye.

Posted on August 10th, 2022

Our good friend Gabor Horvat has been figuring out Walleye in some of the southern Ontario reservoirs.

Gabor smiles as he holds up an “eating-size” Walleye he landed on a southern Ontario reservoir.

When water levels start to drop in water-regulated reservoirs shoreline temps rise and Walleye migrate to deeper water.

Several of the southern Ontario reservoirs have excellent Walleye fishing in the spring but anglers fishing deeper for them in the summer months can locate them too.

Gabor has been targeting them using harnesses and trolling deep.
