Late summer is an excellent time to target walleye from shorelines. The best time of day to do this is just before dark and just after dark. Key areas to fish is where moving water enters a lake or larger river and stream. Walleye really migrate at dusk and starting in late summer and continuing right through the fall, they can cruise into water as shallow as two feet in search of baitfish. Casting the Rapala Husky Jerk is one of the most effective way to catch these trophy fish!
