Sheepshead Action in Buffalo River, NY
Posted on May 21st, 2009I had a chance to explore the Buffalo River in Buffalo, NY today and used the new www.rapala.ca, Rapala Thug crankbait working both sides of the river. To my surprise I caught largemouth bass, sheepshead and a rainbow, that’s right, a migratory rainbow! When sheepshead move up on the shorelines it’s a sign that the water is warming-up. Many people don’t like the idea of catching sheepshead, but I find them very entertaining in-between catching gamefish. By the way, they are excellent eating!
