Shadow Lake & Head Lake – Fishing Report

I had the opportunity to get out fishing this past Sunday with my Dad Tim Patterson. We fished both Shadow Lake in Norland, ON and Head Lake, five minutes west of Norland. We had great success fishing a small jig head with live worms for bluegill, in a variety of sizes, one after the other. I also caught a nice smallmouth on the same setup.
We then hauled my boat out of Shadow and headed over to Head Lake. Fishing a larger jig head tipped with a live minnow, I was able to land a very nice smallmouth, weighing just shy of 4 lbs. We had a great day and some great fishing.
