Saugeen River, ON tributary update.
Posted on April 6th, 2010Wayne Sheridan reports: A blast of summer has hit southern Ontario for Easter weekend. Last weekend Andy and Mario went fishing at Denny’s Dam on the Saugeen River and action was a little slow for most people fishing there, except for them. They caught 2 nice 3lb rainbows and then Andy hooked into a giant steelhead that took ½ hour to land and then he released it. He figures it must have weighed about 8-10lbs at least, great brood stock. Be extremely careful around wet slippery river banks. Keep you children and pets away from fast moving rivers.
