Saugeen River, ON Steelhead Action.
Posted on November 15th, 2009Gabor Horvat reports. I recently went up to the Saugeen Rive, ON to see how the rainbow trout fishing was and it turned out to be a good choice. The water was pretty clear, so I used smaller roe bags with a 6 pound test fluorocarbon leader, a sensitive float and a few split-shots sinkers. I caught some nice size migratory rainbow trout. Fish were cruising all over. They all locked like healthy, strong fish, and fought hard. It was fun.
The warm weather with the sunshine just made it even nicer at this fall day.
