Saugeen River, ON Fishing Update.
Posted on December 10th, 2010Wayne Sheridan reports: Last weekend Andy and Mario fished the mouth of the Saugeen River. Andy caught a nice 2 lb rainbow and he saw another friend catch and release a nice 10lb rainbow. The only problem was that by 9:30am the water got too dirty to fish. This was from the snow melting up river and dirtying up the water. With the snow flying around, winter has arrived in southern Ontario. It is time to get out your snow tires and winterize your car. Don’t forget to place an emergency blanket in your car and some emergency supplies like candles. River bank edges are very slippery, please be cautious.
