Posted on May 14th, 2010Wayne Sheridan reports: Fishing last weekend was a real challenge. No boats were out on the Great Lakes due to strong wind conditions. Rains have raised river and lake levels, but they are very dirty. As the water clears, fishing will improve.
River Flow Rates: moderate and rising. Visibility 4ft
Saugeen River (Durham) rising at 1.5M, Saugeen River (Walkerton) dropping at 10.3M, Sauble River (Sauble Falls) steady at 1.2M, Sydenham River (Owen Sound) rising at 5.2M, Maitland River (above Wingham) up at 10.5M, French River at Woseley Bay at 186.57M, Bronte Creek near Zimmerman rising at 5.9M, Credit River at Streetsville down at 4.7M, Credit River at Orangeville down at 11.5M, Grand River (Doon), up at 4.5M (below Shand dam) at 1.7M
