Saugeen River, ON and area fishing Update.

Posted on February 5th, 2015

Wayne Sheridan reports: Winter weather is sadly back with major snowfalls through southern Ontario and Quebec. Some friends went ice fishing up on Lake Simcoe a couple of weeks ago but only caught a few perch. Most of the perch now have moved north and are in much deeper water, about 50ft down.

As many of you, we make our yearly prediction on when Spring will arrive. Wiarton Willie has predicted an early Spring. Brennan, our chipmunk, disagrees with Wiarton Willie again. Brennan predicts 8 more weeks of Winter. Remember, Brennan has been right 14/15 years.
