Saugeen River, ON and area fishing update.

Wayne Sheridan reports: River levels last weekend have dropped back to normal levels, after high flow rates this Spring. Last Sunday evening, we went to one of our favorite fishing spots and noticed a trout feeding on nymphs near the surface. We caught a nice rainbow trout and its stomach was full of black Isonychia Nymphs.
River Flow Rates: Moderate, tan coloured, visibility 6 ft.
River Levels: Saugeen River (above Durham) at 1.263M, Saugeen River (Walkerton) at 9.967M, Saugeen at Port Elgin at 8.121M, Sauble River (Sauble Falls) 0.945M, Sydenham River (Owen Sound) at 5.007M, Maitland River (above Wingham) at 10.053M, French River at Woseley Bay at 187.1M, Bronte Creek near Zimmerman 5.919M, Credit River at Streetsville at not 4.575M, Credit River at Orangeville not available, Grand River (Doon) at 4.068M (below Shand dam) at 1.593M, Rideau River at Ottawa 3.525M, Ottawa River at Britannia at 58.5M
Flyfishing: Various caddis, Grey Fox, Green Drake, Iso, Trico, blood worms, minnow imitations.
Prime Fishing Times: Saturday June 21, 2014: 7:15 am to 9:57 am (moon overhead) and 7:40 pm to 10:22 pm (moon underneath).
