Wayne Reports: My niece Mallory caught these 2 lake trout near Kingston this morning. Those are great fish dear.

River levels are still low after the rain on Saturday but will increase from more rain expected on Tuesday, The rain was needed by fishermen and farmers.

River Levels: Saugeen River (above Durham) at 1.124M, Saugeen River (Walkerton) at 9.4M, Saugeen at Port Elgin at 7.38M, Sauble River (Sauble Falls) 0.743, Sydenham River (Owen Sound) at 4.896M, Maitland River (above Wingham) at 9.966M, French River at Woseley Bay at 186.273M, Bronte Creek near Zimmerman 5.714M, Credit River at Streetsville at 4.381M, Credit River at Orangeville 11.198M, Grand River (Doon) 4.056M (below Shand dam) at 1.653M, Rideau River at Ottawa 2.615M, Ottawa River at Britannia at 57.854M

Flyfishing: minnow, red wiggler worms, iso, Trico, white dun, and various caddis

Prime Fishing Times: Saturday August 20, 2016: 1:53 am to 3:51am (moon overhead) and 2:18 pm to 4:15 pm (moon underneath).
