Salty Trout.

It doesn’t matter if I’m jigging in freshwater for Walleye, Bass, or Pike, or in saltwater for Redfish, Snook and Spotted Sea Trout, I rely on Lunker City soft-plastics. One of my favorite is the 3 1/2″ Shaker that works well with a 1/4 or 3/8 oz jighead.

When I’m fishing Spotted Sea Trout on the saltwater grass flats the water is only 3-5′ deep and I fish the jig at a pretty fast tempo, swimming it more through the water column than letting it drop to the bottom. Sea trout are on the flats to do one thing…feed! As you can imagine the strikes are pretty aggressive!
