[nggallery id=743]What better way to finish-off a great day of charter fishing than to have a fresh salmon barbacue with friends, and that’s exactly what we planned at Cafe Amalia’s, Aldo’s parents Cafe in Welland, ON.  Also was the barbacue “king” grilling freshly caught salmon, nice stakes and turkey breast.  To compiment the meat we had lot’s of fresh corn on the cob, salad, deviled eggs prepared by Virginia, Aldo’s Aunt and a special birthday cake and canoli dessert made especially for us by Amalia, Aldo’s Mom.

In attendance were Barb & I, our pup Mulligan and our oldest daughter Amanda’s black lab, Odessa.  We were joined by my parents, our son John and Chelsea, our daughter Patricia, our friends from Windsor, ON, many of Aldo’s family and many friends.

Besides eating well, we also had the pleasure of listening to Nino and Pat performing many songs and special song appearances by Anna, Pat’s sister, Patricia & John Labignan.

July 7th is also by Mom, Libera’s birthday and this was a very special one since she turned 77′ on July 7!!  Before he night was over there was dancing, comoradarie and everyone had a great time.

Now we are planning our next fishing outing which will be filming in the Sault Ste. Marie, ON region to cover the Kiwanis of Lakeshore Walleye Tournament and also filming at Laurentian Lodge.  Two days of rest and off we go.
