I Drove down to London on the weekend to visit one of my good fishing buddies, Jayson Belfry. After we both showed off some of our newest fishing pictures and shared some stories, he asked me if I wanted to do some winter Carp fishing. When I was done laughing at him, I reminded him of the minus 20 degree temperatures with the wind chill, but that did not seem to phase him one bit. So we rigged up a # 6 egg hook with a 1/4 oz. slip sinker, bought a can of corn nibblets and he drove me to a nice quiet pool on the Thames River. I was amazed that we both were getting hits in the first 5 minutes ! And only moments after that, I was hooked up and fighting my first ever January Carp !!!
Thanks Jay for creating an even bigger monster out of me ! I will be back !
