Our good friend Ryan Edenborough who is a professional guide, excellent anglers and all-round “nice-guy”, and who I have had the pleasure of doing several TV shows with (where he ended up catching the biggest fish on camera!!), just posted this trophy laker on Facebook. I know there are lot’s of trophy lakers in Lake Ontario, but this one looks like it came out of Great Bear Lake!!
Ryan caught this beauty fishing off the North shore Lake Ontario in 125′ water with his lure running at 94′. He used a green and orange spoon trolling at 2.7 mph with surface temperatures of 42.5 F. In total they hooked 5-Lakers landed 4. Hooked and lost one Chinook salmon & landed 1 -rainbow and one ow.
