Rob Holly wrote in to us and wanted to share a recent fishing experience while he was fishing Dog Lake near Battersea, Ontario. Rob was fishing in 30 feet of water when he noticed a dense clouds of baitfish below with “streaks” of larger fish travelling up from the bottom and through the bait clouds.
He tied on a Rapala Scatter Rap in the natural perch color, started fishing it and landed this bronze beauty. It’s nice when our electronics shows us exactly what is happening underneath us and in this case it was a bass “feeding frenzy” and Rob was able to take advantage of it!
