Richard Couturier finished his Atlantic Salmon season with a trophy fish!!
Posted on December 21st, 2010[nggallery id=398]Richard Couturier who works for Sail Outdoors Superstore loves to fish and sent these images to us of some of this past season’s catches. As you can see Richard catches everything from trophy musky, to fly fishing for trout and salmon. I had a chance to get to know Richard while I worked the new Sail store opening in Ottawa, ON on Dec. 1, 2010. Richard is a very knowledgeable anglers who makes sure Sail stores are stocked with the right type of fishing tackle and accessories. Richard caught the Atlantic salmon from the Matapedia River which runs thru the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec. It weighted 16 pounds and he caught it fishing with a 13’6″” Spey rod and on a #10 hook! This fish was his last Atlantic salmon of the season. It was caught it early September
