Red Pine Wilderness Lodge, ON producing trophy walleye every night after dinner.

Posted on July 12th, 2010

[nggallery id=270]After shooting a trophy back-lake smallmouth bass show yesterday with the Ocean Kayak, we returned to the lodge, had dinner and you guessed it, went out fishing for about an hour, right at dusk.  In no time we were hooking double-header, eating-size walleye in the 13-161/2″ length and we also hooked to larger walleye.  The smaller one measured out at 19″ and the larger one at 28″.  All of the fish fought hard on our ultralight gear.   The camera crew also went out with our guide Ryan and caught lot’s of fish.  They ended up getting many eating size fish, hooking-up several triple-headers and also landed several lunker walleye in the 24″, 25″, & 28″ length.

If you enjoy catching & eating walleye in a wilderness setting, give www.redpinelodge.com a call and book a trip, you will be glad you did.
