Record 8kg Sterlet, Hungarian Danube.

Posted on November 10th, 2016

On October 2002 Gábor Burián-Kozma caught the Hungarian record and second largest rod-caught Sterget specimen ever. This rare small species of sturgeon was caught in the Baja Section of the Danube River and released alive. This is a good example of our time-consuming research, as it took 14 years till we got high quality, full body photos of the fish. Courtesy of www.fishing-worldrecords.com .
