Have you ever heard the term, “The fish were stacked like cord-wood.”. Well, if you look at this weeks Raymarine feature image you can see that the fish are definitely stacked from bottom to top all in a row.
This occurrence is awesome since it’s ideal whether your fishing on the bottom, or trolling through the water column. In this case these were Spanish Mackerel that were suspended at all depths but not necessarily feeding on baitfish.
The good news is that if you locate a predator fish pattern like this you can usually get them to strike by trolling trough them!
