Raymarine rockpiles & Bass.
Posted on August 6th, 2016I love to fish open-water for both large & smallmouth bass. While many anglers have confidence fishing shorelines, shorelines tend to get fished heavily so I look for “bass-magnets” away from shore. This is where my Raymarine Dragonfly7Pro is by fishing partner at the bow of the boat.
I rely on it to find my major rock structures that may not be on the hydrographic chart, but very important to attracting feeding large and smallmouth bass. Summertime algae blooms can make visual visibility into the water even with the best polarized glasses difficult. That’s when having a reliable fishfinder is priceless!
