Rapala Tail Dancer walleye, largemouth bass and pike, Bay of Quinte, ON.
Posted on August 27th, 2014We had an excellent day cranking the Rapala Tail Dancer #9 on the Bay of Quinte today. Conditions were much better with light winds blowing from the North-west and the action started right away.
I was joined today by Troy & Brian and in about 20 min. into our fishing we started hooking trophy largemouth bass and walleye.
We again used the Rapala Shift baitcasting & spinning outfits loaded with Sufix 832 braid, Sufix and Fluorocarbon leaders.
We caught most of our fish cranking isolated weedbeds in 12′ of water quite a distance out from shore.
Some of the best fishing occurred mid-day between 11am-2pm with bright skies and just a ripple over the wataer. Looking forward to another great day tomorrow!
