Rapala Shadow Rap Shad Deep for smallies.
Posted on June 1st, 2016I had a chance for the first time to fish the Rapala Shadow Rap Shad Deep for smallmouth in Lake Erie. I was really impressed with the natural side-to-side wobble on a regular retrieve and the really nice flash when “twitching” it.
I made long casts with the Sufix832 braid and worked the Shadow Rap Shad Deep down to about 10′ and started hooking some really nice smallmouth. This lure is a winner and I can see it catching everything from Trout & Salmon to all of the warm-water gamefish.
