I love to vertical jig both in fresh & saltwater. On inland lakes, winds moving a boat can make it tough to keep your jig/vertical jigging spoon at the right depth, way down. In saltwater, tides do the same thing. That’s one of the main reasons I have been using the Rapala Hydros counter reel for deep-water jigging. Whether I’m trying to fish within a few feet from the bottom, or somewhere in the water-column off bottom, I know I can depend on the Hydros from coast to coast and everywhere in-between!
The Hydros™ line counter has quicky become the go to reel for serious boat captains and guides, who know a good reel once they’ve put several hundred hours on them. Fully machined, 1 piece aluminum frame, with superior drags and accurate line counters, these reels offer rugged dependability through and through, great for fresh or saltwater fishing!
