Rade Karan catches trophy walleye on Rapala.
Posted on August 15th, 2015Heres a picture of Rade Karan’s 24.6 inch Walleye he caught in the Otonabee River, Rice Lake. According to Rade, on his day out he had a tough time catching any fish. He started jigging in the morning right after first light with a with a 3-inch plastic minnows/jig. No action jigging so he switched to a 5-inch plastic worm, still no action. He finally decided to go up the river & started trolling for 5-minutes with a Rapala and immediately he hooked his trophy. It just goes to show you that changing presentations, lures and locations can lead to big results even if you are having a slow day…..well done Rade!
