Where would you go shore fishing on lake simcoe and be close to Oralia or Barrie. What lure should I use. I know I should use a pickerall rig but if I run out of minnows
Posted on June 14th, 2014Hi Kyle…You can fish from shore right in Kempenfelt Bay, Barrie, ON,at the Orillia park on Lake Couchiching (downtown), or Atherly Narrows at the east-end of Orillia. If you run our of minnow you can cast the Rapala Ultralight Crankbait or fish a 1/8 oz. jighead/1-2 1/2″ plastic grub along the bottom. Your only challenge will be trying not to get stuck on bottom fishing from shore….God bless you, Italo
