When are the salmon expected to arrive in the St. Catherine area? Are the fish still on the bar in the mouth of the Niagara River?
Posted on April 12th, 2016Hi Norman, few fish left on the bar and scattered. We are already getting reports of Chinooks being caught on the south-shore of Lake Ontario around Wilson, NY.
They should be moving close to our shorelines as the smelt and baitfish move in as water temps approach 40F.
